A TALE OF HAUNTED RHYMES
THE JOURNEY...SO FARFrom the underground metal scene of Lebanon to international stages, concept albums and cinematic storytelling
Once And For All
Phenomy played their first international show just three months after forming, then headed into the studio to record and release their debut full-length album, a release that launched the band internationally and laid the foundation for their signature cinematic groove metal sound.
Threaten World Order
A politically charged era exploring corruption, chaos, division, and global collapse. During this time, Phenomy won the Wacken Metal Battle Middle East, earned an endorsement with Solar Guitars, and went on to perform at major festivals including Wacken Open Air in 2018.
The Memory Remains
A darker and more emotional chapter exploring trauma, memory, psychological darkness, and atmospheric storytelling. While struggling to continue making music and remain active from Lebanon, Phenomy filmed their first music video inside a prison in Zahlé, marking a defining moment in the band’s evolution.
Hurt
In 2020, the COVID pandemic and Lebanon’s economic collapse pushed the band into a period of frustration and isolation. Working remotely from their homes, Phenomy created their cover of “Hurt,” which became one of the band’s most emotional releases, further expanding their horror inspired, psychological, and cinematic direction.
Syndicate Of Pain
While confined at home during lockdown, the band began building its own universe through music and storytelling, searching for a deeper and more immersive creative direction. This led to the creation of "The Wretched and the Wicked", a conceptual album featuring tracks such as “The Mute, The Deaf, The Blind.” The record marked a heavier and darker evolution for Phenomy, centered around themes of madness, suffering, manipulation, and psychological collapse.
The Wretched & The Wicked
The Wretched and the Wicked is a dark conceptual universe that explores the collapse of the human mind under fear, manipulation, trauma, and suffering. Set in a disturbing psychological world, the story follows broken characters trapped between madness and reality, reflecting themes of isolation, control, inner demons, and societal decay. Through cinematic storytelling and heavy atmospheres, the project blurs the line between horror and emotion, creating an immersive experience that mirrors the chaos of the modern world.
Phantasmagoria
A new cinematic era begins with Art Gates Records and Extreme Management Group, marking a major step forward in Phenomy’s evolution. During this chapter, the band also signed with Fender and Collision Drumsticks, was featured on MTV Music, and collaborated with Impericon. Phantasmagoria became the band’s most theatrical and immersive album yet, blending crushing groove metal with horror inspired storytelling, psychological themes, and cinematic atmospheres. Exploring illusions, fear, distorted realities, and the darkness of the human mind, the album expands the universe created in The Wretched and the Wicked while pushing Phenomy’s sound into a more ambitious and emotionally intense direction.
